The look: Red top; Black cardigan; Black and gold scarf; Harvest gold wide belt; White letters trousers; Black boots.
I bought a book New Romantics The Look the week before I did the window, which was all about the people and the style and everything happened in the new romantics period. And also I watch a film 'Worried About The Boy' on BBC which centred around the life of George O'Dowd. I didn't remember anything from the book or the film on purpose. The New Romantic look almost came out spontaneously.

This is a beautiful top with beautiful colour and pattern, actually its shape is simple though. The black cardigan is very soft and has a special shape. For the trousers, to be honest, initially I thought they were chavs, but it is no doubt that they are strange so I wanted to give a try to see how I  function them. I was still making a choice since my mind went blank and  I had no idea what kind of look I was going to put on the models. Then I calmed myself and talked to me: you don't have the time to waste, just be crazy. And then, the whole look presented spontaneously.

The look: Jane Norman black and white stripe single shoulder T-shirt; Black tie; Grey hat; Black and faux leopard fur gloves; Jane Norman white jeans

I just simply matched the T-shirt and the jeans and the gloves as I expected the fur gloves would make the casual look very interesting. And it worked well indeed. However, I still could not see the look was outstanding enough, then I gave her a tie and a hat, and a shiny necklace, and the style had turned to be sexy and cool. Ok, it was much more interesting now. Hold on, the another two had got red belts, for this one, let me see what and what colour should I add on it. Arha here it was, a blue scarf, ok now it was absolutely done.

The Whole Window

Jane Norman Dress Window Design

I was told that I had to use the Jane Norman's garments for the window display and the colour of that must be bright and rich. To be honest, I have been used to do whatever I want and choose whatever I like, their only requirement that the window display always must be bright is reasonable. But the thing which made my uneasy was that the most of the rest of Jane Norman's dress either had dull colour or had been used before, I do not really like to reuse garments. I chose these three dresses Which I liked the best, but obviously they were very dull. Now that the display mainly for showing Jane Norman's dresses, it was unnecessary to put any layers on the dresses. Nevertheless, in order to brighten the window, I had to add some bright colour on them.

Over Size Sweater Collection

The look: Eton blue and colour block  oversize jumper; Cambridge A skirt; Wool hat; Blue scarf; Red scarf; Robin egg blue scarf; Black and flower pattern welly.
I like the colours on the jumper and the shirt, which have the ability to calm people down. And I like the skirt's buttons line and the material that is very comfortable. But apparently they are not window displaying's colour unless we have the lights which the selfridges are using for their window displays. So I added the three attractive scarves to brighten her, and also that gave her a new lively playful and frisky feel .

The back of the look.

The look: Jane Norman's white silk dress; Green high collar jumper; Red sweater; White belt; Dark green knitted hat; Rose heel.
After I put the red jumper on the white dress, I though the look was a bit boring and I should give her another thing. The collar of the red sweater is pretty wide, it would be great if there is something with another colour comes out of the red collar. Well everybody knows that green and red are perfect partners, so I picked up the green high collar top. No matter in terms of the collar feature or in terms of the colour, the green top perfected the look commendably.
